The Wisconsin Badgers are getting a major piece back in 2025, as senior cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean was granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA on Thursday night.
Fourqurean had filed a lawsuit arguing that his season at Division II Grand Valley State shouldn’t have counted towards his eligibility, limiting his financial opportunities. He had filed a preliminary injunction, which was granted by a judge after he was initially denied by the NCAA last week.
With the news, the Badgers will get both of their senior cornerbacks back for the season, as Ricardo Hallman elected to return for a final year, rather than pursue draft opportunities.
