The Badgers Women’s Volleyball team is ranked No. 3 in the preseason AVCA Coach’s Poll released on Tuesday.
Two-time defending National Champion Texas grabbed the top spot with 46 of 61 first-place votes, and last year’s runner-up Nebraska came in second with the remainder of the first-place votes. Texas started the 2023 season ranked No. 1 before falling as far down as No. 10 prior to a 23-1 run to their national championship.
