CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Senior Griffin Back won the 100-yard freestyle in 52.06 seconds and junior Cameron Tysoe took the 100 backstroke in 57:01 to lead the UW men's swimming team in a 193-124 dual-meet loss to host Virginia.
Freshman Mikayla Seigal won the 200 butterfly in 2:16.82 to lead the Badgers women, who fell 192-120 to the Cavaliers. Senior Beata Nelson took second in both the 200 IM (2:19.83) and the 100 backstroke (1:04.30).
