The University of Wisconsin men's hockey team settled for a 0-0 draw following two overtimes with visiting Michigan State on Saturday night at McClimon Field.
The Badgers (2-6-2, 1-1-2 Big Ten) almost put in the winning goal in the 110th minute when sophomore Christopher Mueller's cross to sophomore Mark Segbers was headed wide.
“Every point in the Big Ten is important. I have utmost respect for Damon Rensing and the Michigan State program," UW coach John Trask said. "That was a good, tough Big Ten team. Neither team had the quality at the end of the day to find a game-winning goal.
