ST. LOUIS -- Victories have been few and far between this season for the University of Wisconsin men's soccer team, but the Badgers have shown a flair for the dramatic.
Tom Barlow’s goal midway through the second overtime period -- in the 105th minute -- gave UW a 2-1 victory against host Saint Louis in a non-conference match Wednesday night
The winning play was triggered by Christopher Mueller’s corner kick, which Barlow headed for the winner as the Badgers improved to 3-8-2 and dropped the Billikens to 4-5-2.
UW, which halted a six-match winless streak, won a match against Rutgers earlier this season on a Mueller goal with one second left in the second overtime period.
