Madison — Wisconsin will need assistance — a miracle? — to pass Iowa for the outright Big Ten West Division title and a berth in the league title game.
UW (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) must win its final two games and see Iowa (10-0, 6-0) lose its last two games to accomplish that feat.
The sixth-ranked Hawkeyes can clinch a berth in the title game with a victory Saturday over visiting Purdue or Nov. 27 at Nebraska.
UW must defeat visiting Northwestern (8-2, 4-2) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (BTN) and host Minnesota on Nov.
