The Wisconsin Badgers have hired former Missouri Tigers head coach Robin Pingeton as their head coach in a stunning move, the school announced on Tuesday.
Pingeton, 56, had been at Missouri for the past 15 years before resigning earlier this year. During that time, she accumulated a 250-218 record, leading the Tigers to four NCAA Tournament appearances and six NIT appearances.
However, the Tigers hadn’t made the Tournament since the 2018-19 season, and Pingeton had a record of 70-99 over the past six seasons, including 28-66 in SEC play during that stretch.
