Ahead of spring ball later this week, the Wisconsin Badgers revealed their 2025 roster, highlighting their large class of incoming freshmen and transfers.
However, there was a notable omission from the roster: 2024 three-star tight end Rob Booker.
According to 247Sports’s Evan Flood, Booker has chosen to medically retire from football, but will remain connected to the team in some capacity.
Booker did not appear in a single game as a freshman last year, instead being listed as out on Wisconsin’s injury report every week.
A native of Waunakee, Booker’s recruitment took a few turns, as the tight end had committed to Wisconsin before quickly flipping to UCLA.
