The latest AVCA polls came out for this week, and the Wisconsin Badgers saw themselves slide yet again, dropping two spots to No. 8 after a 2-1 week that included a loss to No. 4 Louisville, as well as wins over No. 18 Baylor and No. 25 TCU.
The Badgers started off their season slow, playing tough matchups against Stanford, Louisville, and Texas, who are all seen as top six teams in the country currently.
But, they managed to find their footing in five-set thrillers against Baylor and TCU in the Big 10/Big 12 challenge this weekend, going on the road to achieve their first pair of wins on the season.
