Badgers fall in latest AP Top 25 poll after loss to Michigan State

Following a 71-62 loss to the Michigan State Spartans, the Wisconsin Badgers fell one spot in the latest AP Top 25 poll to No. 12 on Monday.

The week started strong for Wisconsin, as they beat the Washington Huskies 88-62 on Tuesday, thanks to a 24-point performance from John Blackwell. But, they fell short in a close game on the road to the Spartans, struggling to hit threes in the loss.

Now, the Badgers stand at 22-7 and 12-6 in conference play, which is fourth in the Big Ten behind Michigan State (15-3), Michigan (14-4), and Maryland (12-6).
