If the exhibition last Saturday at Omaha is any indication, we’re in for an exciting season.
The No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers paid a quick visit to the No. 15 Omaha Mavericks to freshen up a bit before the 2024-25 campaign begins in earnest this weekend. Both teams spent the first period feeling each other out before Omaha’s Tyler Rollwagen netted a pair of second-period goals, taking advantage of a five-on-three for his second of the game.
Not to be outdone, the Badgers came out firing in the third period. Junior Tyson Dyck lit the lamp in the period’s opening minutes after a pair of side-to-side rebounds provided an advantageous angle near the Mavericks’ net.
