Badger men’s rowing placed a respectable 11th at the national championships over the weekend. Wisconsin finished with 94 total points, just a single point behind 10th place Cornell and 2 points ahead of Syracuse.
The Badgers were the only Big Ten competing in the IRA National Championships.
There must be some correlation between academics and rowing as UW was one of a number of highly regarded universities clashed in the event.
