What a win.
The Wisconsin Badgers won their first game ever in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday afternoon -- and in grand fashion on the leg sophomore kicker Rafael Gaglianone and his 46-yard field goal with four seconds left in the game. The Badgers prevailed 23-21 at Memorial Stadium, coming home with the Freedom Trophy for the second consecutive year, and more importantly, staying in the race for the Big Ten West division race so early in the conference season.
For Gaglianone, the field goal at the end of the game was a redeeming one, as he missed the go-ahead attempt just about 90 seconds early.
