Former Wisconsin Badgers returning to their alma mater is not an uncommon occurrence. Obviously, just look at Wisconsin’s football, basketball, and hockey coaching staffs.
On Thursday, Wisconsin announced former basketball great Alando Tucker was hired to become the new director for student-athlete engagement
According to UW Athletics’ press release, “Tucker will work with incoming student-athletes and their families to enhance how they acclimate to life at UW and in the community, in addition to learning about and using UW resources available throughout their collegiate careers.”
Tucker’s mark on the court cannot be understated, claiming the school’s third consensus first-team All-American and the title of’s all-time leading scorer (2,217 points) during his time in Madison from 2002-07.
