A few years ago, when Wisconsin and Florida Atlantic agreed to meet in Madison on Sept. 9, 2017, former Badgers co-defensive coordinator Charlie Partridge was head coach in Boca Raton.
Now that the day has finally arrived, Partridge is long gone, fired from FAU and plying his trade at Pitt as defensive line coach. In his stead, Wisconsin hosts an Owls team led by perpetually derp-faced legacy child Lane Kiffin.
Yay.
At risk of ending up at the wrong end of a Kiffin-fired Twitter emoji storm, I must admit that I would be more than happy if this particular circus passed Madison by.
