The Wisconsin Badgers 42-10 loss to Alabama was not fun. There’s no getting around that.
That being said, it is still head coach Luke Fickell’s second season. Rome wasn’t built in a day. College football programs aren’t rebuilt in a day as well.
Fickell’s first season was disappointing, yet he still won seven games and almost won a bowl game against one of the best teams in the SEC and in the country. Fickell’s first full recruiting class has just stepped foot on campus and has yet to see the field.
A lot of Badger fans are calling for Fickell’s job and questioning why Paul Chryst was fired so abruptly.
