Madison — Senior Nicole Bauman scored 19 points, leading five Badgers in double figures on Wednesday night as Wisconsin broke a three-game losing streak and coasted to a 89-62 victory over Northern Illinois at the Kohl Center.
Bauman, a former star at New Berlin Eisenhower, made all five of her three-point shots and the Badgers (4-6) shot 75% from behind the arc.
The Badgers outscored the Huskies, 36-11, in the third quarter and shot 60% in the second half.
Michala Johnson added 16 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Avyanna Young scored 15 points and Dakota Whyte had 13 points and seven assists.
