Former University of Wisconsin tennis player Alexander Kasarov is returning to the Badgers as associate head coach.
UW men's tennis coach Danny Westerman announced the hiring of his former teammate on Friday, saying Kasarov will be helped by his knowledge of the school.
"First, Alex is a Badger," Westerman said in a news release. "He knows what we are all about and understands what type of players will be successful here, both athletically and academically.
"Second, he has been a head coach. He has successfully led his own program — and with that experience, he is going to be a huge addition here and will make an immediate impact.
