MADISON, Wis. -- Bronson Koenig scored 16 points to lead six players in double figures and Wisconsin beat Prairie View A&M 85-67 on Wednesday night.
Tevin Bellinger's layup early in the second half pulled the Panthers, who trailed by six at the break, within 44-42. But Wisconsin reeled off a 17-4 run over the next seven minutes to take control. The Badgers scored seven of those points at the free throw line as they got to the bonus at the 13:25 mark and the double bonus with 10:43 left in the game.
The Badgers, who shot 52 percent from the field (29 of 56), went 21 of 26 from the line compared to 11 of 15 for Prairie View, which finished 23 of 46 from the field.
