The Wisconsin Badgers pulled off their fifth straight victory on Friday, beating the Minnesota Golden Gophers 80-59 to improve to 13-3 on the year and 3-2 in conference play.
Offensively, the Badgers were efficient from the field, shooting 43.9 from the field and 39.3 from three, leading to a high-scoring effort in the win.
Defensively, Wisconsin was shutdown once again, holding Minnesota to below 40 percent from the field, allowing under 65 points for the second straight game.
