The Wisconsin Badgers got out ahead in the spring and became the first Power 4 school to extend an offer to 2026 tight end Adam Gehm back on April 9th.
Gehm, a 6’6, 235-pound tight end from Pennsylvania, revealed that the relationship between the two sides stemmed much further than that, however, as the Badgers started showing interest as early as September of 2023.
“Definitely felt amazing [Wisconsin] being [my] first P4 offer,” Gehm shared. “It’s most definitely a special one considering Wisconsin was the first Big 10 school to hop on my recruitment about half way through sophomore year so to have that time September-April when I was offered, building a relationship, then topping it off with a offer is amazing.
