Wisconsin dipped their hands into the Lone Star State and one of their best programs, Southlake Carroll, out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area for their latest commitment in the class of 2022.
Avyonne Jones, a cornerback, committed to Wisconsin on Monday afternoon. Jones, who has had an eventful recruitment process, finally decided on the Badgers over Oklahoma State, Cal, Louisville and others. Jones had committed to Oklahoma State back in April, but decommitted in May, and the Badgers had never lost touch. Jones had previously been scheduled for an official visit in Madison, so when he came back on the market, Wisconsin wasted little time in rescheduling what would be the decision making official visit.
