In another uninspiring win, the Wisconsin Badgers defeated South Dakota 27-13 on Saturday, to move to 2-0 on the season. The game drew many comparisons to Wisconsin’s Week 1 win against Western Michigan, with both games ending in the Badgers winning by two touchdowns.
Although there was more to worry about than fans would like, there are a few positives as the team looks to play Alabama in an SEC-Big Ten showdown next weekend:
Winner: Ground Game
*Sigh*, the ground game was the best part of Wisconsin’s overall game once again. Chez Mellusi led the attack with 60 yards and two touchdowns, while Cade Yacamelli had an efficient 73 yards on just eight carries.
