LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Two Utah State athletes injured when their SUV was struck by a semi have been released from the hospital, but three others remain hospitalized.
Redshirt freshman Adewale Adeoye and senior John Taylor were discharged Sunday afternoon, three days after the accident.
They were among four football players, all defensive linemen, and a former softball player hurt when a tractor-trailer collided with their SUV about 20 miles north of Logan, where the university is located.
Redshirt junior Edmund Faimalo, senior Travis Seefeldt and former USU softball player Sarah Vasquez continue to improve but remain in area hospitals.
