It has been over a week since Bret Bielema left the Badgers, and there is still no indication that the Badgers are any closer to finding their next coach.
One potential option of the Badgers might be Paul Rhoads. Rhoads was considered one of the most popular coaching candidates for teams last season before he signed an extension with Iowa State.
Chat Sports is proud to bring you the latest Wisconsin football coaching rumors all season long!
"Badgers HC opening piques interest of Paul Rhoads at Iowa State," a source told Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
At Iowa State, Rhoads has gone 24-26 since 2009 and has yet to finish in the top two in the Big 12. Regardless, Rhoads does have some pretty big wins in his time at ISU, like beating former #2 overall Oklahoma State in 2011.
Rhoads is a great coach and will most definitely be on the Badgers radar as they continue to hunt for their next coach.
