It has been a week and the Badgers have yet to find a new coach to lead the football team into the 2013 schedule. What we do know is that shortly after Bret Bielema left for Arkansas, Wisconsin's AD Barry Alvarez announced that he would coach the team in the Rose Bowl.
Since Bielema's shocking departure from Madison, the Wisconsin athletic department has been in hot pursuit of the right man for the job. One little known man, might be just the right guy for the Badgers.
Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator, Darrell Bevell, might be the Badgers best option.
Stay tuned with Chat Sports all season long for the latest Wisconsin football coaching rumors!
Bevell is a former player at Wisconsin and has much experience in the NFL, making him a very attractive option for the Badgers. What is even more intriguing is how well Bevell is doing with former Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson. One has to think there might be a slight coincidence between Wilson's success and Bevell's presence.
The productivity that Bevell has gotten out of a relatively unimpressive Seahawks team will surely make Bevell one of the top candidates for the Badgers next season.
If the Seahawks do not make the playoffs this year, do not be surprised if the Badgers name Darrell Bevell as the next coach at Wisconsin.
