Keep tuning into Chat Sports as the latest Wisconsin football coaching rumors emerge!
Badger Insider Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that "there is 'mutual interest' between the two sides."
This link between the Badgers and Peterson will come shocking to most because Peterson has been tempted with other coaching postions but has refused to budge from his home in Boise.
Even if Chris Peterson were to take the job, would Badgers fans want him as their next head coach? Yeah, he has had amazing success at Boise but his offensive beliefs are eons away from those currently in Madison.
Peterson is know for his flashy trick plays and high tempo offense, while the Badgers are known for meticulously running the ball and wearing out the defense.
Peterson would be a great pickup for the Badgers, but it would be interesting to see if he would adjust at all to match the culture in Madison.
