Winnipeg Jets Lose, Sort Of

The Winnipeg Jets kicked off the Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C. with a 3-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Friday night.

The Jets fell behind quick and never really recovered. The Flames scored twice within the first ten minutes of the game. One was a sharp angle shot that beat starter Connor Hellebuyck but the Jets prized goaltending prospect finished with 18 saves in his one half of the contest.
