The Winnipeg Jets were guilty of a disaterous third-period implosion Thursday night, giving up the tying and winning goals with less than two minutes to play in a 5-4 loss to the New York Islanders.
It may ultimately cost them the Central Division crown, or perhaps even home-ice advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
