SICK-BAY UPDATE: LW Andrew Ladd, D Jan Kostalek, C John Albert, G Jussi Olkinoura did not practise.
Ladd experienced some 'tightening' up after practice Saturday and the club opted to keep him off the ice. The captain, remember, had offseason surgery on a sports-hernia injury, although Jets coach Paul Maurice did not indicate if this was related.
NEWS OF THE DAY: The Jets held another intra-squad scrimmage featuring most of their veterans, with Team Blue edging Team White 5-4. Blue held a 4-1 advantage after two periods on goals by Andrew Copp, Brendan Lemieux, Jay Harrison and Dustin Byfuglien and then gave that lead up in a 3-on-3 session.
