"Ø"Ø ABOUT THE HAWKS
-- The Hawks are coming off a 1-0 OT win over Anaheim on Monday, following a 1-0 OT win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Captain Jonathan Toews was the goal scorer in each victory.
The Elias Sports Bureau points out in the process the Hawks became the first team since the NHL reintroduced OT prior to the 1983-84 season to win with back-to-back shutouts.
-- Monday's win was the Hawks' third game without star D-man Duncan Keith, who will be out four to six weeks with a knee injury.
-- Chicago netminder Corey Crawford has posted back-to-back shutouts and, in the process, has matched his season high for the last two years.
