It looks like Nic Petan will share the stage with some of the Winnipeg Jets big stars for his final audition of the pre-season.
Petan skated on the left wing with centre Mark Scheifele and right-winger Blake Wheeler today at the Iceplex as the Jets prepare for Saturday's game in Calgary against the Flames. Game time is 8 p.m. (TSN1290 Radio).
Head coach Paul Maurice said the 22-year-old forward will, indeed, see some action on the line, but he expects to move some players around as well.
Petan said he's ready for the opportunity to put his offensive skills to the test with the club's top-two point-getters from the 2016-17 NHL season.
