The feedback loop shows no signs of ending.
There was enough good from the Winnipeg Jets Tuesday night at the MTS Centre to win their NHL game against the Florida Panthers.
But as on so many nights, the Jets’ wrong went really wrong and in a space of one minute 45 seconds, a hard-earned lead evaporated and finished as a 3-2 victory for the Panthers.
It was the Jets’ fifth straight home loss and seventh defeat in the last eight here, which is beyond problematic now with just 20 games to go.
The team is 13-15-1 at home, a number that will never match up with the road to the playoffs, something that will be taking place without Winnipeg or likely any of its Canadian counterparts this spring.
