TWO of the Winnipeg Jets' walking wounded have started the trek on the long road to recovery.
The Jets revealed Tuesday defencemen Toby Enstrom and Adam Pardy each underwent successful shoulder surgery on Monday. Both of the procedures were performed by Dr. Peter MacDonald in Winnipeg and each player is expected to be ready to go by the start of training camp in September.
Jets coach Paul Maurice revealed after the club was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Anaheim Ducks there were eight players dealing with injury issues as the season ended.
