Yes, the Winnipeg Jets outshot the Edmonton Oilers 45-21 on Monday night.
And yet, the Jets were dealt the empty hand, falling 3-1 to the Oilers at Rexall Place on a night when Oilers goalie Cam Talbot seemed to know when and where the Jets were shooting before they even shot.
No early Christmas for Jets
