Jets will be showing off their sartorial choices at charity fashion show

Winnipeg and its Jets will be breaking ground on a new fundraising endeavour backed by the NHL Players Association.

The NHLPA, the True North Foundation and four members of the Jets were on hand today at the MTS Centre to announce the first NHLPA Charity Fashion Show, scheduled for Dec. 8 at the RBC Convention Centre.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday for Jets season ticket holders. The general public will be able to purchase tickets starting Monday.

Cost is $125 and tickets can be obtained through Ticketmaster.

Jets captain Andrew Ladd, joined at today’s press conference by teammates Chris Thorburn, Mark Scheifele and Jacob Trouba, said the idea for this event had a lot of appeal in the team’s dressing room.
