Jets sign pair of forwards

A pair of top forwards with the Manitoba Moose last season have agreed to new contracts with the Winnipeg Jets organization.

Logan Shaw and C.J. Suess inked one-year, two-way deals. The contracts carry an average annual value of US$700,000 per player if they play in the NHL.

Shaw, 26, was signed as a free agent by the Jets last November. He finished the season with 27 goals for the Moose, the most of any player on the AHL squad.

He has 180 NHL games under his belt, scoring 12 goals and 19 assists split between Florida, Anaheim, and Montreal.
