His credentials suggest Josh Morrissey belongs at or near the top of the crowded list of excellent Winnipeg Jets prospects.
The 20-year-old defenceman is more than mindful how he was able to build his resumé, especially the really good stuff he has authored since being the Jets’ first-round draft pick two summers ago.

Morrissey wants those things that stand out most — his 28 impressive appearances as a 19-year-old for the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps en route to the 2014 Calder Cup final and a gold medal at the world junior last winter — to be part of his arsenal when his bid to make the NHL team begins again in about three weeks’ time.
