The Winnipeg Jets head back out on the road this week having won two out of their last three games at home but nursing a nasty five-game losing streak on the road.
While no one at MTS Centre on Tuesday was celebrating a just completed three-game homestand that saw the Jets win the first two legs before falling 4-1 Monday night to the Colorado Avalanche, the general consensus at the team’s optional skate was that a Jets team that was in a freefall when they limped home from the road just a week ago made some important corrections to their game while they were back in Winnipeg.
