The Jets and Minnesota Wild are still scoreless after one period of play at MTS Centre, though the Jets whipped nine shots on goal and the Wild put up 10 during the first 20 minutes.
Monday night’s game offered many fans their first chance to get a peek at the refurbished MTS Centre, which added a new row of seats along the upper deck. The arena now has a capacity of 15,294, over 160 more than in previous seasons.
