BOSTON -- The Winnipeg Jets have now lost two straight games on their current five-game trip away from home.
Saturday's battle with the Boston Bruins wasn't even close.
The hosts stormed the Jets from the opening faceoff and never let up, dumping the visitors 4-1 in NHL action at TD Garden.
Boston fired three goals past a mostly helpless Michael Hutchinson in the second period to raise their record to 11-7-0. The Jets, now 9-9-2, managed a paltry 13 shots on goalie Tuukku Rask.
Matt Beleskey, Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron scored for Boston in the middle frame, while Tim Schaller added an early third-period tally.
