The Winnipeg Jets finished off a 10-game home stand on a sour note Tuesday night.

Los Angeles centre Torrey Mitchell dug up a loose puck and fired it past goalie Connor Hellebuyck six minutes into the third period to snap a 2-2 tie and spark the Kings to a 4-3 triumph over the Jets at Bell MTS Place.

After Dustin Brown upped the visitors' lead to 4-2 with just over four minutes left, Patrik Laine fired his 28th goal of the year, on the power play, with under a minute left in the game to make it close.
