The Avs, who beat the Jets on Monday in Winnipeg, play a second straight home game tonight when they meet the Jets again. After the seven-game road trip that concluded in Winnipeg, and the end of a quick two-game stay at home, Colorado goes out on the road for the next four.
Colorado comes to the game after a 5-3 home loss to Ottawa on Wednesday. The Avs trailed 4-1 through two periods and missed on five of their six power-play chances in the game. Ottawa had just one power-play in the game.
