Not even the country’s busiest man would miss the chance to see the excitement of a Winnipeg whiteout.
With the Jets on the brink of elimination trailing three games to none to the Anaheim Ducks, Prime Minister Stephen Harper managed to sneak away from business in Winnipeg to take in Game 4 at MTS Centre Wednesday night.
Harper is in town to kick off his post-budget, pre-election tour that wraps up Friday. But this night was all about hockey, as he could be seen prior to puck drop taking photos with Jets fans near his centre-ice seat, just eight rows up from the Jets bench, in section 119.
