MONTREAL - Star goaltender Carey Price has sustained a lower-body injury, the Montreal Canadiens announced today.
The severity of the injury was not disclosed, but Price will miss the Canadiens' game tonight against the Winnipeg Jets.
Rookie Mike Condon will make a second consecutive start, and Dustin Tokarski was recalled from St. John's of the AHL to act as backup.
Condon is 3-0 with a 1.67 goals against average and a .944 save percentage. He backstopped Montreal to a 6-2 win in Calgary on Friday night.
Price was in goal Thursday in Edmonton when the Canadiens wasted a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3.
