Evander Kane voluntarily surrendered to Buffalo police this morning and was handcuffed and charged with criminal trespass and harassment in connection with an incident at a Buffalo bar last month.
The Sabres winger and former Winnipeg Jet insists he is innocent and plans to fight the charges, his attorney Paul J. Cambria told the Buffalo News.
"Without a doubt, he plans to defend himself against these charges," Cambria said.
Earlier this year, Kane, 24, was involved in separate incident in a Buffalo bar where he was accused of sexual assault on a 19-year-old Buffalo woman.
