Most of the hockey intelligentsia has the Winnipeg Jets tumbling out of the playoff picture in the Western Conference this season. But don't be surprised if the Jets prove to be an energized club with more scoring punch and a continued stingy team defence. That formula wins games and gets a club into the playoffs.
The Jets will be a better team for the youth they have inserted into the lineup. The question isn't if, but when.
