Pending restricted free agent Marko Dano has agreed to a new one-year, one-way contact with the Winnipeg Jets.
The 22-year-old winger signed a deal worth $850,000.
Now under contract, Dano must either be protected by the Jets or left available to be picked by the Vegas Golden Knights in the upcoming expansion draft.
Dano, 22, played in 38 games with the Jets last season, scoring four goals and adding seven assists. He missed 26 games with a lower-body injury suffered on Dec. 29 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
