With Dylan Larkin’s self-deletion from their roster this past week, the Michigan Wolverines have bid adieu to their top three point-getters from 2014-15. Senior Zach Hyman and junior Andrew Copp, who signed an early deal with the Winnipeg Jets in March, round out that drainage.
Putting this another way, with Copp and Larkin, Michigan loses its top two centers when both could have returned for 2015-16.
Larkin — who is now joining the Grand Rapids Griffins for the third round of the AHL playoffs — is coming off a 32-assist, 47-point freshman campaign.
