RIO de JANEIRO -- Wichita State junior Deja Young ran the fastest T47 200 meter preliminary time (25.58) today at the 2016 Paralympic Games and will look to earn a second Gold Medal at the games with tomorrow's final set for 9:27 a.m., central time.
Young ran away from the field in the second heat with Angelina Lanza of France finishing second in a time of 26.77, and Li Lu of China finishing third in 27.20. The second-best time of the day came in the first heat by Alicja Fiodorow (25.
